China has done an amazing job at containing the coronavirus outbreak that began in Wuhan, a large city in China’s Hubei province. Medical workers, who were sent to Wuhan to fight the epidemic, are now leaving to go back home.
Over 42,000 medical workers in total were sent to Hubei in order to fight the coronavirus epidemic.
China’s coronavirus cases have remained at around 81,000 for a while, with only a couple of new cases each week. This is in stark contrast to a few weeks ago when new cases were sky rocketing.
Hubei province reported only one new confirmed case of COVID-19 on Monday, and has seen 55,987 patients discharged from hospitals after making a full recovery.
As things in China continue to improve, the situation in America and Europe is still rather dire. The US, currently at 150,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases, has far surpassed China in number of cases.
Italy and Spain and also both nearly over 100,000 cases now.
We hope China’s success in fighting COVID-19 can be a source of inspiration and hope to all the other nations currently struggling with their own epidemics.
Our prayers and blessings go out to everyone who is battling the virus or whose lives have been affected. Much love to all at this difficult time.
